Who I am, what I do!

Through the creation of 'wearable sculpture', I explore themes of adventure; be it physical travel to different locations, personal journeying along our life path or spiritual voyage into other realms.
In my mind every piece of concept adornment or attire is a character with a story to tell and I enjoy featuring my work in performances, photo-shoots and stop-frame animations.
I seek inspiration through travel, interactions with other people and investigations into various cultures, traditions, ways of life and spiritual practices. In marrying influences from such varied and sustainable sources, I hope to break boundaries between viewer and source by introducing people to new perspectives and values in a medium everyone can relate to.
The wearable nature of my work gives another dimension to the level of interaction between audience and object. Much as a shaman might wear a mask in order to connect and become one with a higher power, the wearer is able to fully embody the qualities and meanings of each of my pieces through the medium of self-expression in the form of personal adornment and attire.
