Just having a play with some fabulous Avalon dissolvable film. Embroider the fabric then run under the tap and the material will disappear... magic!

Ballaglass Glen in Maughold is one of my favourite places in the world. It just kind of feels like home!

Starchild
Here is a burst of twinkling lights!
This is ‘Starchild’ - a (very amateur) stop-frame animation I created during my final year at art college. It’s never too late to try something new! The dress featured is a silk shift dress with a fibre-optic underskirt - this was one of my more experimental projects!
Lost and alone in the woods, Starchild wanders through the unknown trying to find her path. Soon it is dark and all hope is gone.
She looks up at the night sky – the stars are twinkling back at her and a new map is revealed. Hope is never lost. She realises that she too is a star and even stars exist as individuals, though everything in the universe is inextricably linked meaning we are never quite alone.
We are formed of stardust as old as the universe itself.
Shine!

Sunny Days
Lucky, lucky lady that I am, over the weekend I received these lovely photographs from my dear friend Lucie!
Happy memories of homemade Hollandaise sauce, excessive amounts of chocolate cake and classic Alpha Male moments. Both images are Copyright of Lucie Boase.
Love, love, love.
